IPTA Annual Conference
Lee Curtis will be speaking at the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA) Annual Conference in Melbourne between 18th and 21st April 2018.
The Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA) is the professional body representing Australian patent and trade mark attorneys and 2018 marks the centenary of the IPTA.
Lee’s talk is entitled "‘The technological, political and legal revolution coming to trade mark law: a European perspective’". In essence, a talk about the coming impact of Artificial Intelligence on trade mark law (the technological bit), Brexit (the political bit) and last, but not least the legal bit (changes to the European Union Trade Mark Directive which have been recently implemented).
