Jacqui Weston Marketing Director
Jacqui joined HGF in 2005 as the firm’s first professional in the area of business development and marketing, reporting directly to the CEO. Since then the function has grown in size and reputation, and provides a pivotal role in the growth of the firm.

Jennifer is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, advising on all aspects of trade mark protection from clearance and registration to contentious matters such as oppositions, revocations and invalidations.

Dr David Selby Patent Director
David’s practice is predominantly in the areas of chemical and biomedical research tools, including analytical instrumentation, and pharmaceuticals. David’s experience in these areas includes GB and European patent prosecution, drafting and international portfolio management for large corporations and universities.

Dr Daniel Woollaston Patent Director
Since joining HGF in 2010, much of Daniel’s work has concerned the drafting and prosecuting of patent applications across a broad spectrum of chemical sciences, but particularly in the fields of pharmaceutical chemistry, organic chemistry and new materials. Daniel also has experience in advising on freedom to operate issues.

Heather Abulafia Trainee Patent Attorney
Heather joined HGF in February 2020 as a Trainee Patent Attorney. She specialises in Medical Devices and is experienced in Australian Patent Law.

Robin Cade Trainee Patent Attorney
Robin joined HGF in 2020 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Engineering team. Robin obtained an MPhys from Lancaster University.

Fiona Christie Patent Attorney
Fiona obtained a First Class MSci in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde in 2009, during which she undertook a one-year industrial placement at Pfizer, Sandwich. Fiona Joined HGF in December 2014.

Katie is a Registered Trade Mark and Design Attorney
