 We are now looking for a 3-7yrs PQE IP Solicitor to join our expanding IP team to be based on either of our Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds office to support our on-going growth.  The candidate will work with all of the current team of solicitors as well as over 100 patent and trade mark attorneys across the firm’s 11 UK offices and three European offices.

 The role will include primarily non-contentious work with real scope to be involved in a mixture of hard and soft IP cases.  However, there are also opportunities for the candidate to work with clients on all aspects of IP.

Key Requirements

We are looking for an outstanding mid to senior level IP Solicitor with substantial  experience in non-contentious IP matters as well some familiarity with the strategic and commercial IP advice.  We would also consider candidates with good commercial law experience who have an interest in IP.

 The candidate should have first class legal ability and excellent written and oral communication skills.  The candidate’s educational background and/or technical skills must be such as to enable the candidate to work with all of HGF’s specialist teams and clients.  The candidate must also be a team player who is able to thrive and support others while operating in an intellectually demanding environment. 

 The candidate should be innovative, client-focused and enthusiastic about building clients’ businesses.  They should be able to demonstrate a commitment to building relationships with clients by anticipating and exceeding their requirements.
