Trade Mark Attorney
Originally from Ireland, Sean studied Law International at University College Cork, graduating in 2013 with an Upper Second Class Honours. One international aspect of Sean’s degree was an undergraduate year abroad attending Charles University in Prague, which sparked an interest in intellectual property while providing an insight into the laws of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Sean proceeded to pursue a masters in Intellectual Property and the Digital Economy in the University of Glasgow. His LLM provided a thorough grounding in the area of intellectual property as well as particularly invoking a passion for trade mark law.
Sean’s knowledge of global contemporary issues in intellectual property, and his keen interest in the area of trade marks, enabled him to gain further international experience by undertaking various intellectual property orientated internships with firms, boutique and large, in the US (Philadelphia) and the UK (Glasgow).
Sean joined HGF in October 2014 as a Trainee Trade Mark Attorney in the Leeds office.
