Liz is an Intellectual Property Solicitor at HGF with experience in working across a range of IP rights including patents, copyright, designs and trade marks.
Liz has advised in relation to both contentious and transactional IP matters, across a variety of sectors including retail, fashion and luxury goods, health and leisure, and advanced manufacturing.
Liz’s practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law including patent litigation, trade mark infringement, design infringement and copyright disputes. Liz also has experience in providing advice on transactional matters including brand management, assignments and licensing matters.
As well as being a member of HGF’s Retail Team, Liz is also co-editor for HGF’s retail e-newsletter “Retail Scanner”, and is also a member of IPsoc and AIPPI.
Liz joined HGF in 2016 after completing her training contract at a leading international law firm. Prior to completing her training contract, Liz graduated with a degree in Sociology and Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Leeds, UK in 2010. Liz went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2012 and Legal Practice Course in 2014 both at the University of Law in Birmingham in the UK. Liz is currently studying the Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at the University of Oxford.
