Adrian has been working with a range of clients, from sole inventors, to start-ups, SMEs, and to multinational companies, developing patent strategies that are carefully crafted specifically to fulfill commercial needs.

Adrian has experience in European and UK patent drafting and prosecution, landscape/clearance searching, competitor monitoring, patent strategy, IP auditing and due diligence. Adrian works within a number of technical fields relating to various aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering, including construction, tooling, automotive products and processes, materials engineering and testing, control systems, medical devices, energy harvesting and energy storage.

He believes that taking the time to understand both the technology and the commercial relevance of an invention and applying this knowledge to develop a suitable patent strategy is essential for adding commercial value to any business.
