Mark Lunt Standards and Regulatory Director and Partner
Mark’s current fields of technology include oil industry drilling and process apparatus, automotive products, plastics pipes, medical devices, power/hand tools, electric motors, gear trains and infants' requisites - all generally mechanical in nature, but not without the chemical, metallurgical or electrical elements.
Dr Bal Matharu Partner
Bal specialises in the pharmaceutical field and has considerable experience in securing patent rights, conducting IP due diligence evaluations and providing advice in relation to freedom to operate queries. Bal also has extensive experience of co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional patent litigation across Europe. Bal joined the Manchester HGF office in October 2015.
Marie McMorrow Partner
Marie is an Intellectual Property Litigation Partner at HGF joining the firm in May 2016. Marie is consistently listed in Tier 1 of IP advisors in the UK legal directories, acknowledged as a “leading individual” and “highly respected”. Whether defending or enforcing IP infringement claims, Marie represents clients in the UK Courts, Court of Justice of the European Union and has extensive experience managing and co-ordinating European litigation and in multiple jurisdictions outside of the EU, including China, US and New Zealand.
Dr Chris Moore Partner
Chris's practice covers engineering and chemistry fields, with specialisations in aerospace and automotive technologies, green technology, medical devices, plastic electronics (PVs, OLEDs), ceramics, polymers, CVD and plasma deposition, fuel cells and analytical chemistry/instrumentation.
Jan Robert Naefe Partner
Jan’s practice involves the fields of materials science and basic industry (metallurgy, metal processing, ceramics, refractory, glass, building materials, plastics processing, industrial furnace design), also the technical sector in general, plus inorganic chemistry. He also has extensive dealings in opposition, nullity and litigation. Jan also provides comprehensive skills in the field of trademark and especially design law.
David Potter Partner
David advises his clients on the protection and management of their trade mark portfolios, encompassing all aspects of trade mark protection from clearance searches, prosecution and registering of trade marks, to advising on infringement enforcement issues.
Kasper Radstake Partner
Kasper has almost 20 years of experience as an IP attorney. He advises clients about the protection, enforcement and exploitation of their IP rights, such as trademarks, designs and copyrights, on a worldwide level. His specialisms cover worldwide portfolio management, cross border opposition and enforcement strategies, due diligence and counterfeit issues. Kasper joined HGF in January 2017.
